On August 22, 2023, Alberta invited candidates in the construction section and published an update considering the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the new AAIP inventory update, there were around:  1,479 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications,  448 Rural Renewal Stream applications,  249 Accelerated Tech Pathway applications,  128 Family Connection Stream applications,  100 applications from priority sectors, and  less than ten applications under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway.  Overview of the AAIP invitations to candidates in the construction section On August 22, 2023, the AAIP invited 89 candidates working in a construction section under the Family Connection Stream. The province invited construction workers with job offers in Alberta and a minimum CRS score of 303 to apply for immigration to the province. This year, Alberta invited 2,673 candidates and issued 6,921 nomination certificates. Alberta issued 615 NOIs overall in the first four weeks of August 2023. Alberta updated the AAIP inventory and invited 201 candidates

On August 9, 2023, Alberta updated the AAIP inventory. According to the new update, there were around:  1,176 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications,  405 Rural Renewal Stream applications,  295 Accelerated Tech Pathway applications,  196 Family Connection Stream applications, 147 applications from priority sectors, and  less than ten applications under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway.  In addition, on August 3, 3023, the AAIP invited 201 candidates who scored 315 points under the Family Connection Stream.  This year, Alberta invited 2,270 candidates and issued 6,527 nomination certificates. Alberta held two occupation-specific AAIP draws on August 2, 2023, the Government of Alberta published the results of the new invitation rounds in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. Alberta invited new candidates under the latest occupation-specific AAIP draws

On July 21, 2023, the Government of Alberta published the results of the new invitation rounds under the latest occupation-specific AAIP draws. The province held two draws under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).  On July 11, 2023, Alberta invited 150 candidates with Alberta job offer in the tourism and hospitality sector. The CRS score for the applicant with the lowest rank taken into consideration in this draw was 435. Therefore, every other candidate taken into consideration for this draw had a CRS score higher than 435.  On July 13, 2023, the AAIP invited 142 candidates under the Family Connection pathway. These 142 applicants fit the criteria of the principal occupation and family link. Overall the number of invitations and the CRS score was less. The candidate with the lowest CRS score only had a 302 overall. As of July 21, 2023, the province invited 2,012 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry and issued 6,003 nomination certificates.   Results of the latest occupation-specific AAIP draws On July 11 and 13, 2023, Alberta held the latest occupation-specific AAIP draws of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program. In total, Alberta submitted 292 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination in each of these draws. Candidates who scored between 302 and 435 on the CRS were invited to apply. On June 12, 2023, the Government of Alberta published the results of the new invitation rounds in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. The province has held seven AAIP draws since April: May 9, 2023 – 8 candidates under the Designated Healthcare Pathway (minimum score: 307) May 9, 2023 – 175 candidates with Alberta job offer in the tourism and hospitality sector (minimum score: 444) May 11, 2023 – 119 candidates under the Family connection pathway (minimum score: 311) May 23, 2023 – 5 candidates under the Designated Healthcare Pathway (minimum score: 401) May 30, 2023 – 20 candidates with Alberta job offer in the agriculture sector (minimum score: 342) June 1, 2023 – 117 candidates under the Family connection pathway (minimum score: 304) June 8, 2023 – 150 candidates with Alberta job offer in the agriculture sector (minimum score: 382) As of June 12, 2023, the province invited 1,431 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry and issued 4,583 nomination certificates.   Alberta invited 405 candidates by Express Entry in new AAIP draws in April Through the Express Entry-linked stream of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Programme, Alberta held various draws in April. In five draws held during the month, 405 invites were sent out in a number of categories. Alberta Express Entry draws held in April are: 53 invites were sent out to applicants with Alberta job offers on April 5 via the Designated Healthcare Pathway. A score of 351 was required by the Comprehensive Ranking System. On April 18, 68 further invitations were sent to applicants in the agricultural sector who had received a job offer. The minimum score was 307. A minimum score of 302 was necessary to receive one of the 152 invitations in the April 20 draw for candidates with a family connection and qualifications and experience in a key occupation in demand. With a minimum score of 301, 124 invitations were sent out to construction workers on April 24. Additionally, on April 25, eight more invites were sent to applicants who had received job offers and scored at least 316 under the Designated Healthcare Pathway. Alberta held new occupation-specific AAIP draws

On April 24 and April 25, 2023, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) held new occupation-specific AAIP draws and send out new invitation rounds in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. In the first draw, Alberta invited 124 candidates with a minimum score of 301 who work in a construction occupation with an Alberta job offer.  The province issued 8 Notifications of Interest (NOI) under the Designated Healthcare Pathway in the second draw. Qualified candidates had an Alberta job offer and a minimum score of 316.  As of April 26, 2023, the province invited 837 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry and issued 2,549 nomination certificates.  As of today, Alberta has opened 5 AAIP draws in April 2023, and 405 individuals have been invited as a result of these latest AAIP draws. The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) has held 10 draws so far this year, and 989 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) for submitting for provincial nomination have been issued. On April 19, 2023, Alberta published an update considering the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the new update, there were around 1,170 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications, 135 Rural Renewal Stream applications, 140 Accelerated Tech Pathway applications, and 165 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool.  Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) allocated a quota of 9,750 nominations to Alberta for 2023 under the AAIP.
