Ontario invited 300 French-speaking candidates in the new OINP draw

On September 7, 2023, OINP held the sixth round of invitations in Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream.  In this round, the OINP issued 300 Invitations to Apply for the Francophone candidates. The Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) range of candidates who received the Notification of Interest from the OINP was between 308 and 434 points.  The Express Entry profiles of the candidates were created between September 7, 2022, and September 7, 2023. In 2023, Ontario invited 1,427 FSSW candidates. As a candidate, you can work with an immigration specialist to smooth your immigration process. The invited TEER categories in the OINP draw for francophone applicants on September 7th: TEER 0: Management occupations TEER 1: Occupations that usually require a university degree TEER 2: Occupations that usually require a college diploma, apprenticeship training of 2 or more years, or supervisory occupations. TEER 3: Occupations that usually require a college diploma, apprenticeship training of less than 2 years, or more than 6 months of on-the-job training   French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream One of the Human Capital streams of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) administered by the government of Ontario, is French-speaking skilled Workers. French-speaking Skilled Worker accepts Express Entry applicants who exhibit competence in both English and French and the potential to contribute to the province’s workforce as skilled workers. Candidates who are successfully nominated through the Ontario French-speaking Skilled Worker stream will be asked to apply for Canadian permanent residence. This path corresponds to the federal Express Entry immigration program. 772 ITAs issued to new candidates under the OINP Masters Graduate stream

On August 30, 2023, 772  invitations to apply (ITAs) were issued to new candidates under the OINP Masters Graduate stream in the Expression of Interest system pool. Candidates who received an invitation had a minimum score of 44 points, 4 points fewer than in the previous draw.  The profiles of selected candidates were created between November 22, 2022, and August 30, 2023.  In total, this year, Ontario invited 32,019 candidates under the OINP streams, including 2,971 Masters Graduate stream candidates. The Masters Graduate stream allows international graduates with an Ontario master’s degree to apply to live and work permanently in Ontario. What are the requirements for the OINP Masters Graduate stream? You may apply to the Master’s Graduate stream after receiving an invitation to apply. In order for your application to be granted, you must meet all of the requirements. To apply, you need not need a job offer. Requirements for the OINP masters graduate streams are:  You must have received an invitation to apply and submitted your application by the deadline. You must establish that you possessed the qualifications stated in the expression of interest, which you registered with the OINP and stated to. at least one academic year of full-time study (that is, at least 15 hours of instruction per week across the academic year, including any job-related training). You must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English or French at a level 7 or higher on the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB). Before applying, you must have legally resided in Ontario for at least one year in the previous two years. Thunder Bay ON issued 274 recommendations to qualified candidates

On May 9, 2023, Thunder Bay ON, issued new community recommendations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). The city approved the applications of 274 candidates whose evaluations scored as low as 49%. Last year, the community recommended a total of 377 candidates.  The Thunder Bay CEDC will prioritize applicants for the recommendation who are most likely to settle and contribute to the local economy. Candidates who received a community recommendation can submit their applications for permanent residence in Canada to Immigration Canada (IRCC). In 2023, the city recommended 504 applications. Ontario invited 2,835 candidates under the Human Capital Priorities Stream

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted two new invitation draws under the Human Capital Priorities Stream On August 16, 2023.  In the first draw, the OINP issued 751 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates with work experience in healthcare and tech occupations.  In the second draw, Ontario issued 2,084 targeted NOIs. On August 3, 2023, Ontario invited 2,844 candidates under the biggest Skilled Trades draw of 2023 of the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP). The CRS score range of the invited candidates was between 250-516 points.  Candidates who created their profiles in the Express Entry system between August 3, 2022, to August 3, 2023, were considered by OINP in this draw for 46 NOCs.  Candidates who received a notification of interest do not need to contact the program and can apply to the stream.  This year, the province has invited 7,512 candidates under this stream and issued 25,797 invitations under all OINP`s streams. Ontario issued 840 invitations under the 3 OINP streams

On August 1, 2023, the Government of Ontario invited candidates through three OINP streams. The province issued 755 invitations to apply (ITAs) for the Master’s Graduate stream and 84 ITAs for the PhD Graduate Stream.  The minimum scores for these draws were 48 points and 39 points, respectively.  In addition, the province invited one candidate in the targeted draw for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project under the OINP’s Foreign Worker stream.  So far, Ontario has issued invitations to 22,953 candidates under all streams in 2023. Ontario updated the average application processing times for the OINP on July 25, 2023, Ontario updated the average processing time in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).  Currently, the processing times for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream and Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream are 70-100 days.  Processing times for Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, Master’s Graduates and Ph.D. Graduates Streams, Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream, Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker, and Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream is 90-120 days.  The processing time for Ontario’s Expression of Interest (EOI) Assessment in the Entrepreneur Stream still requires less than 30 days, and the application processing depends on the complexity of the business nomination application. Ontario Entrepreneur Stream Draw

11 business candidates invited under the Ontario Entrepreneur Stream Draw

On July 28, 2023, the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) released the new draw results under Ontario Entrepreneur Stream Draw. It was the fourth draw for business candidates of the year.  In this draw, the province issued 11 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to business candidates.  This round’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was between 134 and 151.  The OINP noted that those whose Expressions of Interest were scored by July 6, 2023, were eligible for this draw.  This year, Ontario invited 22,113 candidates under all streams of the OINP, including 48 entrepreneurs. This stream is designed for entrepreneurs from outside of Canada who want to launch a new business or buy an existing one in Ontario. It allows an entrepreneur (and up to one foreign national business partner) to be nominated for permanent residence after starting their business in Ontario.    The entrepreneur may be nominated for permanent resident status after operating an Ontario business for at least 18 months. Candidates who are interested must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). After completing the profile registration process, the candidate will be granted a score based on the Ontario Entrepreneur Ranking System. Candidates with the highest competitive scores will be invited to apply to the program on an official level. On July 25, 2023, the OINP held the fifth round of invitations in the Ontario French-speaking Skilled Worker stream. In this round, the OINP issued 95 Invitations to Apply the Francophone candidates.  The Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) range of candidates who received the Notification of Interest from the OINP was between 321 and 374 points.  The Express Entry profiles of the candidates were created between July 25, 2022, and July 25, 2023.  In 2023, Ontario invited 1,127 FSSW candidates. OINP Draws 2023   Ontario French-speaking Skilled Worker stream Ontario One of the Human Capital streams of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) administered by the province of Ontario, is the Ontario French-speaking Skilled Worker stream. Candidates from the Express Entry pool who exhibit bilingualism and the capacity to contribute as skilled workers to the province’s workforce are invited to apply for the French-Speaking Skilled Worker category. It allows foreign workers with the necessary education, work experience, and language skills to apply to live and work permanently in Ontario. How to be selected for the Ontario French-speaking skilled worker stream? To be successful in the Ontario French-speaking skilled worker stream, you need to: select one of the two government programs you want to be assessed against: such as the Canadian Experience Class and the Federal Skilled Workers Program. A Canadian bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree is required, or its equivalent from another country. You must get an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report to demonstrate that your education is equivalent to a Canadian credential if you finished your studies outside of Canada. You must have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 7 or higher in either English or French in order to understand, read, write, and speak either language. Before submitting your application to this stream, you must pass an approved English or French language test to prove that you have the necessary language skills. When you migrate to Canada, you must have sufficient funds to support both yourself and any dependant family members. On July 20, 2023, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted two new invitation draws under the Human Capital Priorities Stream. In the tech drawing, the OINP issued 902 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates with work experience in one of the in-demand occupations.  In the healthcare draw, Ontario issued 159 targeted NOIs. Invited candidates’ CRS Express Entry score was between 458 and 462 points.  In total, the OINP invited 1,061 candidates in the two Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream draws. In 2023, Ontario issued 22,007 invitations under all streams of OINP. 2023 Ontario Immigration Updates    What is the OINP’s Human Capital Priorities Stream? The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has an immigration path called Express Entry Human Capital Priorities. It enables foreign workers with the appropriate schooling, employment experience, and language skills to apply to live and work permanently in Ontario. What are the requirements for Human Capital Priorities Stream?
